2011 FOND DU LAC FESTIVALS’ LIGHT UP THE CITY WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The house that will take home the first place prize of $500 is Butch & Janet Hafemann at 228 Jenny St., Campbellsport (seen above). The Hafemann’s lit up their home with various Christmas characters in the yard, lights that could be seen for blocks and much more. The Hafemann’s home itself had lights extending from roof to ground.

Taking home second place and $350 is Pat and Janet Lorrigan, W2530 Walnut Rd. The Lorrigan’s home did a great job spreading the holiday spirit, complete with outlining the roof and windows around the house and colorful trees and snowmen in the yard.

The third place house is Ronald Steffes at 40 W. Arndt St. Steffes, who will receive $150, created a winter wonderland in his yard complete with lit up porch and all the shrubbery, including a large tree.

Victor and Pat Langolf, 176 Hoyt St. received fourth place for their yard that included lights on the fence, porch, windows and the shrubbery. The Langolf’s even added a green “Merry Christmas” sign to the front of their home.

John & Sharon Stommel at 119 Southgate Dr., Eden, came in fifth place. The Stommel’s yard was sprinkled with lit up pine trees all over, featured a garland and lighted rustic fence around their lot and a group of angels in the front of the house.
