Fond du Lac Morning Rotary

Mission:
“Service Above Self”
Over the years, FDL Morning Rotary Club has donated over $900,000 to various philanthropic organizations and activities. Some of the community and philanthropic projects which have been a continuing passion for our members exemplifying the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self” include:
- International Youth Student Exchange
- Hwy 151 Bypass Prairie Trail
- Birthday Book Program issuing books to all Fond du Lac elementary schools
- Fond du Lac Morning Rotary Scholarships
- Fond du Lac Youth Baseball, Tim Twohig & FDL Morning Rotary Field
- Rotary Readers Program at Pier Elementary School
- YMCA and FDL Boys & Girls Club
- Bell Ringers for Salvation Army at Christmas
- Irkutsk Micro-Loan Program
Community Impact:
- 95% of the money raised by the organization stays in Fond du Lac County
- The largest expenditure is the Birthday Book Program where reading specialists and librarians in the area grade schools pick out several books at each reading level and every grade school child then gets to pick out a book to keep on their birthday. This, along with the Summer Reading Program and Back to School Program makes a significant impact in the community.

Mission:
To improve the world one child and one community at a time
Community Impact:
The Lakeside Evening Kiwanis donates to over 35 different non-profit organizations. Many kids oriented programs including sports (FDL Wresting club, Blue Line skating club, Fondy Swim Team, FDl Baseball, JFL Football, Jr Golf), community services (Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac, FDL Public Library, Back-to-School, Youth for Christ), and other community organizations like FDL Symphonic Band, Thelma center for Arts, New Beginnings, Solution Center, Humane Society, FDL Food Pantry.
- Over 90% of the money distributed stays in Fond du Lac County
- With support from other organizations such as Blue Line Ice Center, FDL Wresting Club, Club Olympia, and the Fondy Swim Team, the Lakeside Evening Kiwanis raises between $20,000 – $35,000 at Walleye Weekend alone, each year.
Hope Lutheran Church

Mission:
As members of Hope Lutheran Church, united by the Holy Spirit, and brought together by God’s plan and purpose, we exist to: grow, show, share, care. Grow in Grace and Knowledge of Christ (2 Peter 3:18), Show love to God and others (Mark 12:30-31), Share the Gospel with each other and in our community (Matthew 5:16), Care for those weary and worn from life (Galatians 6:2).
Community Impact:
Profits go toward Charis Pregnancy and Family Resource Center, St. Katharine Drexel Homeless Shelter, Salvation Army – Fond du Lac and Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Fond du Lac Chapter. The congregation and volunteers come together each year to make these fundraising efforts possible.

Oriole Nation Booster Club

Mission:
The objective of the Oriole Nation is to support the growth and development of students in the District. This includes helping to develop an atmosphere that encourages student involvement, promotes positive school spirit, support of all participants and programs.
Community Impact:
Through the partnership with Walleye Weekend, Oriole Nation is able to raise a large portion of their $100,000 fundraising goal to be able to support the 44 sports, clubs and activities within the district.
- 100% of event profits go toward kids in the NFDL School District with the hopes of them becoming a positive influence and making a positive impact on the community.
Fond du Lac Professional Firefighters Local 400

Mission:
To provide donations back to local community events/organizations that support the Fond du Lac communities and the citizens of Fond du Lac County. To provide donation requests to firefighters and their families due to death or illness locally and throughout the state.
Community Impact:
In the past several years many of the organizations that the Local 400 Charitable Fund have donated to are as followed: Muscular Dystrophy Association, Boys and Girls Club of FDL, YMCA, Cellar District Toy Drive, The American Red Cross, KFIZ Radio, Children’s Halloween Party, Salvation Army, Children’s Museum, Old Glory Honor Flight, Salute the Troops, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Bebow Family Light Show and much more.
