Q: When does the festival open and close each day?
A: Friday, June 10th: 3 – 10:30pm / Saturday, June 11th: 8am – 10:30pm /
Sunday, June 12th : 9am – 6pm
Q: Where can I park?
A: Daily VIP Parking is available at Hometowntickets.com throughout the festival. Make sure to purchase the correct day. VIP Parking can be accessed by entering the Doty Street entrance, at Harborview. We urge all festival goers to park legally to avoid any parking violations during the event.
Q: I am not able to move around very well, will you have access for handicapped or elderly guests?
A: Part 1 – Handicapped Parking is free within our VIP parking area with handicapped sticker/credential. There is access to anywhere in the park by someone in a wheelchair.
Part 2 – Courtesy Carts are available for any handicapped, elderly or injured guests. There will be pick-up points at VIP Parking, The Main Street shuttles stop, and the Park Avenue Shuttle Stop.
Q: I heard about Stage VIP, what’s that all about?
A: If you go to Hometowntickets.com, you can purchase Stage VIP for the Point Stage headliners, Eve6 w/ special guest Blessid Union of Souls. VIP Access opens at 5:30pm (about 1 hour before showtime) and that gets you a prime spot (standing room only) for both acts, exclusive portable toilets, and exclusive beverage service – adult beverages available for purchase inside VIP area. Stage VIP Access passes are $20/each.
Q: Will there be ATMs on-site?
A: Yes, ATMs are spread throughout the park for your convenience
Q: I see a lot of activities going on, where can I find out all the details?
A: Please visit walleyeweekend.com for the most up-to-date event information. Event brochures will be available at all entrances and at Information booths.
Q: What kind of food/beverages will you have?
A: Food and drink are available for purchase across 10 food stands within the park. Each food stand is run by a non-profit and has their own unique signature food. Check out the website for specific food options. Budweiser and Pepsi are the official beverages of Walleye Weekend. There is a mix of adult beverage options including beers and other malt beverage alternatives, as well as sodas, Gatorades, and bottled water.
Q: Can I bring dogs or other pets?
A: Dogs or other pets are not allowed inside the park during large public gatherings, per a city ordinance (so only certified service dogs and our performer’s animals are allowed inside the grounds).
Q: Can I ride my bike or scooter to the festival?
A: You can ride to the park, but you are required to park your bike or scooter at the Main Gate Self-Serve Bike Corral (located at Main Street/Harborview Drive). There will be bike racks located here. The festival is not responsible for the safety/security of your property, so please bring a bike lock.
Q: Can I take a Bird Scooter to the festival?
A: Bird Scooters will have geo-located restrictions starting at Scott Street, so the Bird Scooters will not be operational if you go north of Scott Street. Please park the Bird Scooter in a safe location off of Scott Street and walk the rest of the way to the festival.
Q: This is a family festival, correct? Do you have special accommodations for families?
A: We have a Mother & Child area for any breastfeeding mothers or diaper changing needs on Main Street, near Familyland. Bathrooms with changing tables are also available on the north side of Familyland by Frazier Drive, at Lakeside Park Pavilion (Walleye Weekend HQ) and on Softball Island. We also have Festival Golf Shuttles that will help you get to different parts of the festival, easier. Pick-up locations are at the Main Street entrance, Park Avenue entrance, and VIP Parking east access point.
Q: Anything else I need to know?
A: Carry-ins are restricted anywhere in the park, and if you’re of legal drinking age, wristbands are required and can be purchased for $2 at any of the nonprofit wristband booths. ATMs will be available throughout the park.
