Festival Foods Main Entrance

Welcome to Walleye Weekend!  Come see the Festival Foods Big Cart, watch the Hearts to Heroes Charity Ride Parade on Saturday, June 11th from 5:30 – 6:00pm, or park your bike at the Bike Corral (No bikes allowed inside festival grounds during Walleye Weekend).  Come by Sunday morning for our Family Day Giveaway (free gift to the first 500 children, 17 and under who pass through the Main Gate.

New Beginnings Mother & Child Area

New mothers and mothers of little children can use the Mother & Child tent located west of Main Street, next to the Pier Pups jumping canines show.  Supplies and electricity for all pumping or changing needs throughout the festival. Please let event staff know if supplies are running low.  Thank you!

Let’s make every day Earth Day! In an effort to keep Lakeside Park clean, Walleye Weekend is working with Mercury Marine and 4 nonprofit organizations in a recycling effort to keep our park clean during and after Walleye Weekend. Please help us keep our park clean by using designated garbage and recycling containers during Walleye Weekend.

Festival Shuttles

There is a golf cart shuttle service from the bus drop-offs at the Park Street entrance (Harborview Drive/Park Avenue) as well as the Festival Foods Main Gate (Main Street/Harborview Drive).  These 6-passenger shuttles will be making continuous loops and stops at Exhibitor Row / Walleye Weekend HQ / Mercury Island.  Look for the carts that have the Holiday Automotive logo on them.This shuttle is staffed by volunteers from the Fond du Lac Evening Optimists.

Handicap Courtesy Carts and Accessible Parking

We have free Handicapped parking in the VIP Parking section along Frazier Drive for our handicapped visitors (Make sure to display your handicapped certification when you enter the Doty Street Parking Entrance located north of Doty Street/ Harborview Drive. There is also a free service ensures the entire park is accessible for our elderly and handicapped visitors. These carts are proudly staffed by volunteers from the Fond du Lac Evening Optimists.  Look for the carts that have the SSM Health logo on them.

Walleye Weekend Shuttle

We want to make transportation to Walleye Weekend simple. Ride the Walleye Weekend Shuttle, courtesy of Gold Star Tours of Fond du Lac. Pick up is at Fond du Lac HS. Riders should park on the West Side of the parking lot at High School (801 Campus Drive, Fond du Lac – park just to the west of the PAC). Drop off at Harbor View and Park Avenue or drop off at Harbor View and Main Street. Departure times from the high school at the top and at the 1/2 hour.  Final shuttle leaves Main Street Gate at 10:45pm on Friday or Saturday night, and 6:45pm on Sunday afternoon.

Bike Corral

Walleye Weekend asks that you ride your bike to the festival, but bikes are not allowed inside the festival grounds. The bike corral is available: Friday, June 10th 3 – 8p.m., Saturday, June 11th 10a.m. – 8p.m., and Sunday, June 12th 10a.m. – 6p.m and is located at the Festival Foods Main Entrance (Main Street/Harborview Drive).  All bikes must be locked.  Fond du Lac Festivals is not liable for any damaged or stolen bikes.  

 

Locks will be available for purchase ($25 cash) from the Hope Lutheran Church Concession Stand located along Main Street.


Walleye Weekend Lost Child

Lost children or parents may come to the Pavilion. The Walleye Weekend feather banner located in front of Lakeside Park Pavilion is your marker.


First Aid

Guests in need of minor medical attention (limited to abrasions, cuts and minor wounds) may seek assistance at a first aid station at the corner of Promen Drive and North Main Street. There is another first aid station located on Baseball Island. Guests in need of further assistance will be referred to paramedics located on Oven Island. Call 911 for assistance for an emergency.

No dogs allowed in the park for Walleye Weekend except for Pier Pups (competitors restricted to one area).
