BREAKOUT BAND CONTEST FINALISTS HAVE BEEN SET!

Location: Grande Cheese Center Stage

Event Details: A total of at three qualifying bands have been selected with the opportunity to play a 25-minute set at Walleye Weekend.

A winning band will be selected based on a pre-determined set of criteria at Walleye Weekend on Sunday, June 14th and that band will win a $500 cash prize and the Walleye Weekend 2026 “Breakout Band” trophy. The winning band will also have the opportunity to play on stage at Walleye Weekend 2027!

Sunday, June 14th: 11:30am – 2:30pm

Breakout Band finalists have been set for our 3^rd Breakout Band Contest on Sunday, June 14^th. The competition will held on the Walleye Weekend Center Stage on Sunday, June 14^th with three (3) band finalists at the following slot/times.  Click the links below to get a sneak peak of each band!

Dolt                      Slot #1                 12:00pm – 12:25pm

Seven Heads      Slot #2                 12:50pm – 1:15pm

Lobi                      Slot #3                 1:40pm – 2:05pm

Judging/Deliberation will take place immediately following the 3^rd performer and will be announced on stage prior to That 90s Band performance starting at 2:30pm

Qualifications:

• Set must include one original song
• No age restrictions
• All band members must be from the State of Wisconsin
• Must be available to play a 15-minute set at Walleye Weekend in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on Sunday, June 14, 2026, between the times of 11:30am and 2:30pm.
