2nd Annual Chalk Art Contest at Walleye Weekend returns! Get involved in three ways: as an Artist, in the Audience, or as a Judge. Artist: Sign up to enjoy a few hours creating art outside during Walleye Weekend while competing for the title of Chalk Art Champion!

Audience: Watch as the sidewalk is transformed into a chalk art gallery over the span of only a few hours!

Judge: Vote for your favorite finished piece! Voting is open to both Artists and Audience members (one vote per person).

Saturday, June 13*: 11am – 3pm

*Sunday, June 14: 11am – 3pm will serve as a rain date for inclement weather.

10:30 – 11:30am: Registration at the THELMA tent & sidewalk spot assignment

11am – 2:30pm: Working timeframe

2:30 – 3pm: Chalk down; judging begins

3:15pm: Winners announced

Prizes Winners will receive a curated gift basket including THELMA merchandise, a THELMA gift certificate, and art supplies — plus the title of 2026 Walleye Weekend Chalk Art Champion!
